About Us
From the golden glow of sunrise to the pastel hues of dusk, and every sun-soaked day in between, Isle of Palms is island living at its best.

Tucked along the South Carolina coast, just outside the historic city of Charleston, Isle of Palms has drawn generations of beachgoers with its pristine natural landscape and easy-going feel. Home to many, a beloved escape to others; the island is an essential backdrop for some of life’s greatest moments.

The Isle of Palms Chamber of Commerce is a group of dedicated locals who know first-hand what makes this coastal enclave so special. A rare breed of Southern beach town, Isle of Palms is an all-encompassing locale anchored by passionate residents and a unique collection of independent businesses. Together, they foster the vibrant character for which our island is known. Officially chartered in 2022, we’re here to support this treasured community, offering insider guidance and neighborly connections to all who visit our shores—and those who never leave.

Katrina's Perfect Day Off

It would begin by catching the sunrise over the marsh, watching the egrets feed on fiddler crabs. I’d strap my kids into our golf cart and head to a local coffee shop for croissants. We’d cruise over to the pool and splash around with some friends before grabbing sandwiches to take to the park. We’d walk to the beach during the gorgeous early evening glow and play in the tide pools. When the babysitter arrives later, my husband and I would bike to our favorite restaurant and end the night at a beachside concert.
