Christmas is rapidly approaching and in Isle of Palms we are dreaming of a white sand beach Christmas. Christmas lights on the boardwalk
There is something about palm trees and Christmas lights that makes us all get into the holiday spirit on Isle of Palms. One walk down boardwalk at Wild Dunes towards the Grand Pavilion at night will have you humming Christmas carols in the cool sea breeze. The boardwalk is decked out in twinkling lights and other decorations for you to enjoy. There is also a fully-decorated Christmas tree at the Sweetgrass Plaza Inn.
Meet Santa at the beach
Santa’s job can be hectic this time of year and he needs some much needed rest and relaxation like the rest of us. He can be found in multiple places at Wild Dunes this season as he gears up for his trip around the world. Here are some places you can find Santa at Wild Dunes this holiday season:
Breakfast with Santa
Saturday, December 16th, 8:30 AM-10:30 AM, Sweetgrass Pavilion
Come dine with Santa and enjoy Rudolph’s pancake buffet with an array of toppings and hot chocolate.
Stories on the Stoop with Santa
Saturday, December 23, 6:00 PM
Kids of all ages can come and hear Santa read The Night Before Christmas while enjoying plenty of cookies and other sweet treats.
Sippin’ Santa
This holiday pop-up theme bar is going on all month long at the Laughing Gull on Wild Dunes. Adults can don their favorite Hawaiian holiday shirt and enjoy Beachbum Berry’s Sippin’ Santa Tiki Bar through December 31st.

Join the events team at the Indigo Rooftop for a special screening of “Elf” with freshly popped popcorn and hot chocolate.
Cookie decorating

Located on the Plaza at Wild Dunes, you can come and enjoy some holiday cheer while you transform ordinary cookies into Christmas works of art.
